The Challenge – One of the key obstacles at CES is standing out among countless technology showcases. Twitter recognized an opportunity to engage attendees by emphasizing its vibrant, active communities and reinforcing its role as a platform for meaningful cultural conversations.

The Insight – The challenge at CES was to make Twitter’s presence stand out in a sea of technology exhibits. Our insight was that the key to Twitter’s impact lay in its active and diverse communities. By focusing on real-time cultural conversations, we could showcase Twitter as more than just a social platform—positioning it as a hub for meaningful engagement and innovation. This approach led to the idea of creating an interactive, immersive space that celebrated the vibrant communities shaping conversations on Twitter.

The Solution – I led the creation of ‘Twitter Commons,’ a dynamic activation inspired by the #StartWithThem campaign. This thoughtfully designed space at CES highlighted Twitter’s most influential communities, offering attendees an immersive experience of the cultural conversations shaping the platform. The #StartWithThem hashtag underscored Twitter’s role in driving meaningful engagement and showcased innovative solutions in real-time. By blending interaction and community storytelling, the ‘Twitter Commons’ made Twitter’s presence at CES both impactful and memorable.

The Impact – The ‘Twitter Commons’ activation at CES made a lasting impression, driving significant engagement and drawing attendees into meaningful interactions centered around Twitter’s active communities. The immersive experience amplified the #StartWithThem campaign, generating buzz and reinforcing Twitter’s role as a hub for cultural conversations. As a result, Twitter’s presence at CES was elevated, making a memorable impact and showcasing the platform’s unique ability to connect and inspire in real time.
