The difference isn’t that great athletes don’t hear that voice. It’s that they don’t let it decide the outcome.Gatorade’s Win From Within platform had always focused on inner strength. The opportunity was to go deeper and show what that actually looks like in real time.The insight centered on internal competition. The pressure to improve. The drive to be better than you were yesterday.
Not against an opponent, but against yourself.
I led the creative for Fixation, featuring Kevin Durant and Dwyane Wade. Shot in Houston following the NBA All-Star Game, the film captured that tension without dialogue or narration. Just movement, focus, and the constant pursuit of improvement.The work was intentionally restrained. Letting the behavior speak for itself.
The campaign generated over 30 million views and increased social engagement by 20%, while sparking conversation around performance, rivalry, and the mindset required to compete at the highest level. More importantly, it reinforced what the brand stands for.
Not just physical fuel.
